Solution
Want to know how you were supposed to solve the
Feast of the Faeries? Well, this guide will help you out.
Basic Clues
- llusen and Jhudora were the first to
exchange gifts. They gave each other supposedly "magical" items that really
weren't.
The two worst gifts at the Feast of the Faeries were the Mysterious Lollipop
and the Enchanted Leaf Comb. It makes sense that Illusen and Jhudora, who hate
each other, would give each other the worst gifts possible.
- Jhuidah gave the Space Faerie a special
item from the Cooking Pot that could detect evil, and therefore, could warn
her of Dr. Sloth's presence near Neopia. In exchange, Jhuidah received a food
item that, in actuality, contained a small transmitter which would allow the
user to call for the Space Faerie's help at any time.
If you look at each item's description by holding your mouse over its picture,
you'll learn that the Enchanted Crystal Apple was capable of detecting the
presence of evil. In exchange, Jhuidah received the Space Faerie's food item,
the Magical Marshmallow Grundo.
- The Soup Faerie's battledome item could
be used to cool down her hot meals.
The Soup Faerie must've received the Magical Frost Crown.
- As a gag at the end of the Feast, the
Soup Faerie gave Jhudora her Kind Avatar. Everyone got a hearty laugh out of
it, and the Soup Faerie got a rather insidious brew in return.
Jhudora received the Kind Avatar, the Soup Faerie received Jhudoras Magical
Cocktail.
- Taellia's meal could stay crisp forever
on Terror Mountain, whilst Illusen's was very appropriate for an earth faerie.
Taellia received Illusen's Enchanted Leaf Taco, and the only meal that was
appropriate for Illusen was the Mysterious Tomato Soup.
- Everyone laughed at the Battledome item
Jhuidah received... it was rather ironic, after all.
Being the Cooking Pot's guardian, it'd be ironic if she received the Soup Pea
of Infinite Attack.
- Taellia received a rather mischievous
petpet, and in exchange, gave away a magical doll, sculpted into her image.
If you look at the Bartamus's description, it'll describe him as
"mischievous." So, Taellia got Bartamus, who was brought by Jhudora. In
exchange, Jhudora received a doll from Taellia- the Magical Taellia Doll.
- Illusen was deathly afraid of her petpet,
whereas Jhuidah was unsure of how hers would fare in a tropical climate.
A petpet from Terror Mountain probably wouldn't be happy on a Tropical Island,
so Jhuidah probably got the Snickle beast. Then, since Taellia already
received Bartamus and Jhuidah already received the Snicklebeast, and since
Illusen brought the Gallion, and since she already received a gift from the
Soup Faerie, only the Blobagus and the Uggazew remained. The petpet she most
likely received was the Uggazew.
- The Space Faerie was especially fond of
dolls, and received two doll-related gifts, as well as a Petpet that simply
wasn�t ready for life in the darkness of space.
In order to receive two doll-related gifts, one would have to be an actual
doll. The only other doll-related gift at the Feast was the "Aren't I a Doll?"
Avatar that Illusen brought. Therefore, the Space Faerie definitely got the
Illusen Doll Avatar. Kadoaties are notorious for being afraid of the dark, so
it makes sense that the Space Faerie received this petpet from the Soup Faerie
based on the clue.
Logic Solutions
In order to complete the puzzle from this point, you'd need to use logic. Here's
how you could narrow everything down.
- Start with Jhudora.
She already received a Battledome item, an avatar, and a doll. So, only a
petpet and a food item remain. If she's already received a gift from Illusen,
the Soup Faerie, and Taellia, then only the Space Faerie and Jhuidah remain.
The Space Faerie has already given her food item to Jhuidah, so Jhudora must
have received a petpet from the Space Faerie - Blobagus. Now Jhudora needs a
food item, and only Jhuidah hasn't given her anything, so Jhudora must've
received the Elixir of Omniscience.
- Second, let's see if we can figure out what
Illusen got. She's already received a
"Battledome item" from Jhudora, a food item from the Soup Faerie, and a petpet
from Jhuidah. That leaves an avatar and a doll from Taellia and the Space
Faerie. Well, Taellia already gave her doll to Jhudora, so she must've given
Illusen her avatar. This means that Illusen's doll gift must've come from the
Space Faerie.
- Next there's the Island Faerie,
Jhuidah. We know that she received a food
item from the Space Faerie, a Battledome item from the Soup Faerie, and a
petpet from the Snow Faerie. That leaves an avatar and a doll from Illusen and
Jhudora. Illusen already gave her avatar to the Space Faerie, so she must've
given Jhuidah a Magical Illusen Doll. That only leaves an avatar from Jhudora.
- Then there's the
Soup Faerie. She's already received a Battledome item from Taellia
and a food item from Jhudora. That leaves a petpet, an avatar, and a doll from
Illusen, Jhuidah, and the Space Faerie. Illusen has already given out her doll
and avatar, so Illusen must've given her petpet to the Soup Faerie. The Space
Faerie already gave her doll to Illusen, so she must've given the Soup Faerie
her avatar. That only leaves a doll from Jhuidah.
- Four down, two to go. We know that the
Snow Faerie got a food item from Illusen
and a petpet from Jhudora, so we need to find out which avatar, doll, and
Battledome item she received from the group of the Soup Faerie, Jhuidah, and
the Space Faerie. Jhuidah's already given her doll to the Soup Faerie and her
Battledome item to the Space Faerie, so her avatar must've gone to Taellia.
The Soup Faerie already gave Jhuidah her Battledome item, so she must've given
Taellia her magical doll. That leaves only a Battledome item from the Space
Faerie.
- Last but certainly not least is the
Space Faerie. This should be pretty simple
now that all the others are done. The only food left to give out is Taellias
Secret Snow Soup, and the only doll left to give out is Jhudora's.
Fyora's Clues
Now you have to figure out what items
Fyora left with after she exchanged all six of her gifts.
- Since the faerie with the Magical Soup
Faerie Doll didn't received anything from me, I snuck her a few million
Neopoints before she left.
This clue just eliminates all of Taellia the Snow Faerie's items from the list
of possible gifts Fyora left with.
- The faerie with the
Magical Jhuidah Doll was given a special avatar which would allow her to
access the Rainbow Fountain at any time, in exchange for her Petpet, of
course.
The Soup Faerie had the Magical Jhuidah Doll, so Fyora took her petpet, the
GALLION, in exchange for the Magical Fountain Avatar.
- I've always been
suspicious of Jhudora's motives, so I quickly exchanged one of the gifts she
brought for an artifact that would make the user invisible to evil.
The two most suspicious gifts at the Feast were probably Jhudoras Magical
Cocktail and the Mysterious Lollipop. Considering that the "Mysterious
Lollipop" is actually called "Poisonous Lollipop" on Neopets.com, this is most
likely the gift Fyora exchanged. Plus, Illusen (who received the Mysterious
Lollipop) would have more to gain from Fyoras Enchanted Fog than the Soup
Faerie (who received the Magical Cocktail). Therefore, Fyora took Illusen's
MYSTERIOUS LOLLIPOP in exchange for Fyoras Enchanted Fog.
- Jhudora received an
item that could help me keep an eye on her, in exchange for her Petpet, of
course.
If you read the description of the Magical Faerie Queen Doll that Fyora
brought, you'll notice that it mentions something strange about this
particular doll's eyes. Well, surprise surprise, Fyora rigged it with a camera
so that she could watch Jhudora's every move. So, Fyora took Jhudora's petpet,
BLOBAGUS, in exchange for Fyora's Magical Faerie Queen Doll.
- I gave my Faerie Niptor to the faerie
with the Jhudora-themed avatar, in exchange for her Petpet, too.
The faerie with the Jhudora-themed avatar was Jhuidah, and the petpet she had
received during the Feast was the SNICKLEBEAST. In exchange, Jhuidah
got a cool Faerie Niptor.
- I exchanged Battledome items with the
faerie who received a magical doll from Jhudora.
Jhudora gave her magical doll to the Space Faerie, who was holding the
ENCHANTED CRYSTAL APPLE. In exchange, the Space Faerie received Fyora's
Scroll of Infinite Freezing.
- I exchanged foods with the faerie who was
holding the Magical Taellia Doll.
Jhudora received the Magical Taellia doll from the Snow Faerie and the
ELIXIR OF OMNISCIENCE from the Island Faerie. Fyora took the Elixir and
gave Jhudora her Fyora Sundae.
